Cambridge Cognition announced the general release of a new iPad application for the detection of early memory impairment that is common in Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. As we reported last September, the iPad application (named CANTABmobile) is based on the Cantab PAL test, a visual working memory test.
The CANTABmobile memory test takes about 10 minutes to complete, and is given by a trained health care professional. Currently, the application is only available in the UK, but we expect this tool to move into the US market shortly.
